Award ticket terms

1.The total number of flight miles required for award tickets is the same for adults and children.

2.Award tickets can be purchased for both round-trip and one-way travel.

3.It is not possible to purchase award tickets for charter, transit and domestic flights.

4.Award tickets are valid for 1 year from the date of departure.

5.Award tickets can be purchased for everyone.

• 5.1 As an exception, the issuance of award tickets for infants aged 0–2 is currently not available. Tickets for infants aged 0–2 are issued on a paid basis and regulated in accordance with the airline’s applicable fare rules. 6.Welcome, birthday, gift miles and other flight miles cannot be earned on award tickets.

7.If Azerbaijan Airlines cancels the flight for any reason, the paid flight miles will be refunded to the account. Airport taxes will be refunded in the same way as if they had been purchased with flight miles.

8.Award tickets can only be purchased through online channels (mobile app and website).

9.The terms and conditions governing the rebooking or refund of award tickets are detailed below. The penalties specified in the rules apply to the changed/refunded ticket as a whole, based on the pricing unit.

• 9.1.Economy “Budget” award tickets are not eligible for refund or rebooking.
• 9.2.Economy “Classic”, “Premium Economy” and “Business” award tickets can be rebooked both before and after the flight by paying the fare difference and a penalty of 60 EUR.
• 9.3.Economy “Classic”, “Premium Economy” and “Business” award tickets can be refunded both before and after the flight by paying a penalty of 60 EUR.
