Worried about your flight being delayed or canceled? Add Disruption Assistance. If your flight gets delayed by 2+ hours or canceled less than 24 hours before your scheduled time of departure, you can rebook at no additional cost (up to the stated amount per traveler). If you are not happy with the rebooking options, get a 100% refund of your trip cost.

Disruption Assistance activates within 24 hours prior to your departure time in case of:

  • • A flight delay of 2 hours or more
  • • A flight cancellation within 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time
  • • Rebooking option: If your flight is delayed by 2+ hours or cancelled on the day of departure, you will be offered a new flight to your original destination on any airline through HTS
  • • Refund: Receive a 100% refund and keep your original flight if you don't accept rebooking options

Disruption Assistance is available on our website and app: 

  • • When booking your ticket; 
  • • Through the Manage Booking (MMB) option, if you missed it during purchase.

It covers delays of 2 hours or more and cancellations for any reason, including weather, operational issues, and government emergencies. It does not cover health advisories.

Disruption Assistance covers your flight only. It does not include add-ons like seats, baggage, or hotels.

The fee is calculated specifically for your itinerary. You will see the exact price during booking.

HTS monitors your flight 24/7. If a disruption occurs, you will receive an immediate e-mail with your options.

If a disruption occurs, Disruption Assistance will help you continue your journey smoothly:

  • • You will be offered an alternative flight to your original destination at no extra cost
  • • You may be rebooked on any airline in the same or similar fare class Note: Please ensure you complete check-in and arrive at the departure gate on time for your new flight.
