  • National Day of Mourning – January 20 (Tuesday): It is a non-working day as it is the day of remembrance of the “Bloody January” incident that took place in Azerbaijan in 1990.
  • Women's Day – March 8 (Sunday): International Women's Day will be celebrated as a special day in 2026, as it is every year. However, since this date falls on a Sunday, March 9 has been designated as a non-working day.
  • Novruz Holiday – March 20-24 (Friday - Tuesday): Novruz symbolizes the arrival of spring and the rebirth of nature. This holiday will include 5 non-working days.
  • Ramadan Holiday – March 20-21 (Friday and Saturday): The Ramadan holiday will be observed on March 20–21 this year. This sacred holiday highlights values such as unity, sharing, and compassion among people. As some non-working days in March overlap with the Novruz and Ramadan holidays and fall on weekends, March 9, 25, 26, 27, and 30 are also considered non-working days.
  • Victory Day – May 9 (Saturday): Victory Day over Fascism is celebrated in our country every year and is considered a non-working day. However, since this date falls on the weekend, May 11 will be a non-working day.
  • Eid al-Adha – May 27-28 (Wednesday and Thursday): Eid al-Adha, one of the holiest holidays in the Muslim world, will be celebrated for two days.
  • Republic Day – May 28 (Thursday): Today will be a non-working day in honor of the anniversary of the founding of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. Due to the overlap of the dates of Republic Day and Eid al-Adha in May, May 29 is also considered a non-working day.
  • National Salvation Day – June 15 (Monday): National Salvation Day symbolizes the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to power and is a non-working day.
  • Armed Forces Day – June 26 (Friday): Azerbaijan Armed Forces Day is celebrated as a public holiday and is a non-working day.
  • Victory Day – November 8 (Sunday): Victory Day is a special day that emphasizes the spirit of heroism and unity of the people. However, since this date falls on a weekend, November 10 will be a non-working day.
  • National Flag Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan - November 9 (Monday): This day reflects the importance of state symbols for the Azerbaijani people and is considered a non-working day.
  • World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day - December 31 (Thursday): The last day of the year concludes with World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day.
