Traditional general meeting of Azerbaijani civil aviation’s fligh crew was held

A traditional general meeting of Azerbaijani civil aviation’s flight crew was held on September 28.

President of CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines Jahangir Asgarov, who once again underlined President Ilham Aliyev’s constant care and attention to Azerbaijani civil aviation, opened the meeting and read out the President's order on granting the individual pension of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to pilot Alexander Pavlovich Plemakov.

The meeting continued with the ceremony of seeing off a group of aircraft commanders, who retired. Jahangir Asgarov expressed his gratitude to them for their high professionalism and contribution to the development of civil aviation. Then valuable memorable gifts were presented.

Jahangir Asgarov traditionally opened the main agenda of the meeting quoting the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s words: "The most important task of Azerbaijan's civil aviation is to ensure flight safety". Ilham Amirov, CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines Vice President on flight operations, delivered a report on flight safety issues and later by the command and instructional staff attended the discussions.

Issues of enhancing flight safety, operation of modern aircrafts, use of new technologies, increasing qualifications of the crew and other issues were also discussed at the meeting.
