Restriction rules of the hand baggage transportation on the flights of
National Carrier "Azerbaijan Hava Yollari".
Attention! Below are restrictions on transportation of liquids, gels and aerosols for carrying in the aircraft cabin which are operating from Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Baku. 1.All liquids, gels and aerosols should be required to be carried in containers with a capacity not
greater than 100 ml or the equivalent in other volumetric measurements, e.g. fluid ounces.
Containers with the liquids, gels and aerosols should be placed in a transparent re-sealable
plastic bag of a maximum capacity not exceeding 1 litre, which should be presented by aviation
security workers. This bag should be completely closed. Only one transparent plastic bag
per passenger should be permitted. Liquids carried in containers larger than 100 ml are
not be accepted, even if the container is only part-filled.
2. Liquids purchased either at duty free shops can be carried on aboard aircraft, only if:
these liquids purchased either at airports of Azerbaijan Republic duty free shops;
there is a receipt, which confirms that this purchase made at airports duty free shops;
this liquid packed in a sealed transparent plastic bag.
3. If there are children under two years, one of the parents must taste children's baby food
at the check-point and then it can be carried into the cabin.
4. If liquid medicines and aerosol medications are essential for the passengers during the flight:
passengers should have supporting documents on medical usage;
these medicines should be placed in the special sealed container which should be
presented by Aviation Security Service's workers.
5. All the plastic bags with the containers for liquids, gels, liquid medicines and aerosol
medications should be presented by passenger to the Aviation Security Service's worker
for the check-point, without fail, apart from other cabin baggage, clothes and laptops.
