The Gabala airport is an international airport in the town of Gabala in the north-west of Azerbaijan.Construction of the Gabala airport started in January 2011 and in 17 November 2011 President Ilham Aliyev take part in the inauguration of Gabala Airport, at the same year the Gabala airport received the status of an international airport.
