Every passenger above the age of 16 can participate in the program
Membership in the program is free of charge;
To participate in the program, it is necessary to fill out an application form and providing accurate information;
Everyone shall participate in the program on an individual basis;
Participants in the AZAL MILES program have personal accounts to which acquired points are transferred. The account and accrued points of a Participant shall not under any circumstances be transmitted, inherited, serve in mutual settlements, be transferred or combined with other accounts and points of another person whether that person is a party to the program or not. The points shall not be converted into cash. Under no circumstances can family members or members of one and the same organization accumulate points in one account.
Points for flights shall be transferred into a plastic card of membership. The card may be collected by a passenger in person or sent to an specified address;
Cards can be of three types:
Participant сard
Silver сard
Gold сard
After a passenger fills out an application form and completes all other formalities, he shall receive a Раrtiсiрant card. No bonus points other than mile-points shall be accrued on this card.
When a passenger receives a bonus other than a free ticket (free carriage of 10 kg of extra luggage, services class upgrade from economy to business), he shall receive a Silver card.
Bonus points shall be added to this account on the passenger’s birthday in accordance with the mile-points table.
When a passenger receives a free ticket, he shall receive a Gold card.
Bonus points shall be added to this account on the passenger’s birthday and on public holidays of the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the mile-points table.
A card for participation in the AZAL MILES program takes two weeks to prepare.
The number of points added under the program is indicated in the table of mile-points;
15. Points shall not be added:
for unused travel (including cancellation of a flight);
for flights on free service tickets;
for flights on bonus tickets.
Points for unused travel on a bonus ticket shall not be reimbursed.
The participant shall notify the airline in writing of any changes in the name, address and telephone;
In the event of loss of the card, the Participant shall notify offices of Azerbaijan Hava Yollari in writing. A duplicate shall be issued within six weeks from receipt of the application. 25% of the points accrued in the Participant’s account shall be written off;
A Participant in the AZAL MILES program who has reserved a seat but has not taken the flight shall be fined and 20 penalty points shall be subtracted from the points accrued.
Azerbaijan Hava Yollari reserve the right to exclude any Participant from the program, withdraw a Participant’s card and cancel all the points accrued if the Participant breaches the rules and conditions of the program;
Azerbaijan Hava Yollari reserve the right to cancel or alter all or part of the bonus program at any time both with and without prior notice;
In case of cancellation of the program, all points accrued by Participants may be cancelled. Azerbaijan Hava Yollari shall take all possible action to notify Participants of changes or cancellation of the program. The airline shall not be held accountable for any loss or damage the Participant may incur as a result of changes or cancellation of the program;
An excerpt from a Participant’s account is of information nature. Azerbaijan Hava Yollari reserve the right to alter the frequency and order of issuance of excerpts to Participants, to verify all the information regarding the status of a Participant’s account;
The points added within a two-year period preceding the date of a latest addition shall be considered the Participant’s valid points. On each addition of points, this period changes according to the date of addition. If no points are added within one year from the latest addition of points for flights with Azerbaijan Hava Yollari, the Participant shall lose membership in the program;
In the event of inaccurate addition of points, the Participant shall submit an application and attach copies of tickets to it. Applications shall be accepted within 180 days from the date of the flight. Verification of the information received and addition of unaccounted for points to the Participant’s account shall take place within two months from receipt of the Application;
The points added incorrectly shall be considered invalid and cancelled;
The Participant shall follow any changes to the program conditions and regulations on his own;
Every Participant shall verify the number of added mile-points with Azerbaijan Hava Yollari on his own. In the event of discrepancy, the Participant shall provide Azerbaijan Hava Yollari with necessary documents to correct the balance;
Additional bonus mile-points for holidays cannot be accumulated on participant’s account for previous holiday bonus, it is mandatory to have an actual flight between holidays.
